How do I order for pickup or delivery?

You can place an order for pickup or delivery in a few ways:

- Through our website

- Using the Hidden Grounds App

   • Download on the App Store (iOS)

   • Download on Google Play (Android)

- On delivery platforms like Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub

Orders can be placed daily between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.

If you haven’t downloaded our app yet, just search Hidden Grounds Coffee in the App Store or Google Play.

What should I do if there’s an issue with my order? (Wrong item, missing item, etc.)

If you ordered in store or via the Hidden Grounds app/website: Use the chat box on the bottom-right of the screen. Please include your full name, the Hidden Grounds location you ordered from, and the time of your order.

If you ordered via a third-party service (UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub): Please first use the help/support option in the delivery app to resolve issues or request a refund. If you are unable to get help through the app, you can then reach out to us using the chat box on the bottom-right of the screen.

Can I modify or cancel my order after placing it?

Most orders are placed through delivery apps like UberEats, DoorDash, or Grubhub. If you need to cancel or modify, please do so directly in the app. If the app doesn’t allow you to complete the change, you can always use the chat box on the bottom-right of the screen for assistance.

If you placed your order on the Hidden Grounds app or website, use the chat box and include “Cancel Order” or the modification request along with your order details.

Note: Modifications must be equal in value to the original order.

Do you take reservations?

At this time, we aren’t accepting reservations.

Feel free to drop in anytime—seating is first come, first served.

Can I customize my coffee or chai with different milk alternatives?

Yes! You can fully customize your drink to suit your taste.

Are your donuts eggless?

Yes! All of our donuts are eggless and baked instead of fried.

Is your food halal?

At this time, our chicken tikka is not halal.

Do your bakery items contain nuts or other common allergens?

Most of our bakery items contain dairy, gluten, and egg.

Many of our items may also contain or come into contact with common allergens, including:

Nuts (such as almonds, walnuts, and peanuts)

Dairy

Eggs

Soy

Gluten/Wheat

While some pastries are made without certain allergens, all items are prepared in a shared kitchen environment. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that any menu item is completely free of allergens.

Do you take catering orders?

Yes! We’re happy to cater our chai, coffee, and treats for your event.

How to place a catering order:

To order, please email thehiddengrounds@gmail.com with your name, event details (date, time, and location), a list of what you'd like to order, and the quantity for each item.

Important Notes:

All catering orders must be picked up from our Jersey City location at:

144 Summit Ave, Jersey City, NJ

We have order minimums:

Coffee orders require at least 4 boxes.

Chai orders require at least 2 boxes.

Can I have my birthday event at Hidden Grounds?

Yes! Our spaces are available to rent for birthday parties, meetings, and other events.

Do you allow pets?

Yes! We are service pet friendly and big fans of all furry creatures.

Only service animals are permitted inside our cafes. However, leashed pets are welcome in our outdoor seating areas whenever available.

If you’re visiting with a service animal, please feel comfortable bringing them in — we’re always happy to accommodate.
